Get ready to celebrate our Beginner and Children dedication at our End-of-Winter Batizado event in Chicago, from March 7th to 9th, 2025. Throughout this weekend, participants will engage in training activities that celebrate the art of capoeira and the beauty of Brazilian culture. While only beginners and children will be eligible for graduation, the workshops will be for all skill levels.

• Dynamic Capoeira Workshops
  Led by world-renowned Mestres and Professores, our capoeira workshops will be divided into skill levels and designed to cater to practitioners of all levels. Whether you're a novice eager to learn the basics or a seasoned capoeirista looking for that extra edge, these workshops offer an immersive experience that encompasses the essence of this dynamic martial art.
• Workshops in Music and Afro-Brazilian Dance
  Delve deeper into Brazilian culture with workshops in music and Afro-Brazilian dance. Learn traditional rhythms, explore movement techniques, and immerse yourself in the vibrant and diverse world of Brazilian dance and music.
• Batizado and Troca de Corda
  The weekend will culminate in our traditional Batizado and Troca de Corda ceremony, where students have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and dedication while receiving their new cords. It's a momentous occasion that symbolizes growth, achievement, and commitment within the Capoeira community.
